Joining
on a permanent basis after leaving SkyBet League Two side Carlisle United is
forward Gime Toure (pictured).
The
28-year-old, who spent time on loan with the Glovers` league rivals Aldershot
Town last season, started out at Ligue 1 side Brest II, before a series of

AFC Fylde, Sutton United, Hartlepool United and then, from August 2020,
Carlisle.
During
his time with Pools, he finished the 2019/20 season as top scorer with 13 goals
in all competitions and joins Aldershot to look to replicate this kind of form
again in the National League.
He
scored on his debut against Fleetwood Town for Carlisle in the EFL Trophy,
before going on to make 43 appearances for the Cumbrian side.
The
Glovers have also signed Alfie Pond on loan from League Two side Exeter City
until January 2023.
The
towering teenager already boasts first team experience, spending time on loan
with Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South outfit Tiverton Town
last season. |
