The first to arrive at the newly laid Harlow Arena was midfielder Hani Berchiche (pictured).

The 23-year-old joins the Hawks from league rivals FC Romania, where he had been since March 2022 after a short spell with Southern Premier Division South side Hendon.

He had joined the Greens in February 2022 from Isthmian Premier side Wingate & Finchley.

He had signed for Wingate in November 2021 from National League South outfit Concord Rangers.

He had arrived at the Beachboys in August 2021 from then-league rivals Billericay Town, where he had been since the summer of 2020.

He joined Southern Premier South club Metropolitan Police in July 2019 and then switched to Isthmian South Central side Chalfont St Peter in October 2019 and to Southern Division One Central outfit Welwyn Garden City in February 2020.

A midfielder with an eye for goal, he has also spent time playing in the USA with Newman University Jets before returning to the UK and playing for Edgware Town and Wembley.

Experienced and versatile James Folkes becomes a Hawk after being with now-Essex Senior League side Barking last season.

The 32-year-old had been with Barking since June 2021 when they were in the Isthmian North.

He had returned to National League South side Tonbridge Angels in June 2018.

A popular and versatile player can operate in defence or midfield, he was with the Angels for nearly three seasons making 128 appearances before a spell with Grays Athletic.

He originally joined Angels in 2014 from Sutton United where he made 37 appearances in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons.

Previously played for Hayes & Yeading United and Eastleigh as well as loan spells with Ebbsfleet United and Hemel Hempstead Town.

Jimmy Wallace is a young forward who was part of National League side Southend United’s academy, spending last season on loan with Isthmian Premier Division side Bishop's Stortford.

The 19-year-old featured 9 times in the league for the Blues, scoring once, while also featuring once in the Emirates FA Cup and twice in the FA Trophy.

Louis James will look to bolster the Hawks attacking force as the centre-forward joins for the 2022/23 season.

Last season, he played for Combined Counties League side Edgware Town and was previously with Essex Senior Leaguers Sporting Bengal United.

Midfielder Serge Erkarslan returns to the Hawks for a third spell.

The 28-year-old re-joins from league rivals Hertford Town, where he had been since the summer of 2021.

He had signed for then-Isthmian Premier side Cheshunt from then-Isthmian South Central outfit Harlow in late October 2019 and then made the reverse journey in January 2020.

He made 3 appearances and scored one goal after joining the Hawks in July 2019.

He is a central or attacking midfielder who started out in the Tottenham Hotspur academy before a spell with Swiss second division side FC Schnaffhausen.

After returning back to the UK, he featured for Cockfosters and Potters Bar Town before joining Harlow.
