Yate Move for Stanley
Defender or midfielder Jack Stanley has joined Yate Town from Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South rivals Swindon Supermarine.

The 23-year-old joined `Marine in July 2020 from then-Southern Division One South side Thatcham Town (now Isthmian South Central).

 

He had signed for the Kingfishers in October 2018 from Southern Premier South side Salisbury.

 

He can play as a full-back or in midfield and was originally on the books at Swindon Town.

 

He spent the best part of the 2021/22 season at Hartpury University.

 

Swindon Supermarine boss Lee Spalding told his club’s website: “I am of course sorry to see Jack leave Marine, he was an important part of our squad here at the Webbswood, but I understand his desire to play regularly and hopefully he can achieve that at Yate and he leaves with our best wishes and the best of luck in the future”.
