Wright's Back at Truro
Experienced striker Matt Wright has re-joined Truro City from Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South rivals Tiverton Town.

The 31-year-old had returned to Tiverton in June 2021 from Truro’s ground landlords Plymouth Parkway, who he had signed for in May 2020 from Taunton Town.

 

He had originally been with the Peacocks from the summer of 2016 from then-National League South Truro.

 

Wright’s early career was spent at Swansea City and Crystal Palace including a loan spell at Woking.

 

He helped Salisbury City win the Southern Premier South play-offs before a stint in Sweden followed with Pitea IF in 2012.

 

He then went on to feature for Tiverton and Bideford AFC until joining Truro later in 2014.
