The
28-year-old helped Farnborough to win promotion from that division in 2021/22
after joining in January 2022 from then-Southern Premier Division South rivals
Hartley Wintney, who he had returned to in October 2021.
His
early career included spells as an 18-year-old at Tottenham Hotspur and
Leicester City before spending the 2013/14 season at Hayes & Yeading
United.
After
playing in Portugal, he returned to the UK and signed for Hellenic League side
Highmoor-Ibis in 2015 (since re-named Reading City), where he spent three
successful seasons.
He
joined Basingstoke Town in October 2018 from where he joined Hartley Wintney
for his first spell with the North Hampshire outfit.
He
originally joined The Row in December 2018 and contributed towards a good
second half to the 2018/19 campaign.
He
left in August 2019 and spent time with Bracknell Town and Reading City before
re-joining in January 2020. He left and re-joined Hellenic League Reading City.
In
late 2018, he also had the honour of captaining an ‘ambassadorial’ FA England
squad in the Falkland Islands, scoring in one of two games played there.
Odhiambo
told his club’s website: "We have
added to our squad by signing Mitchell Parker.
“Mitchell
gives us individual ability at top end of the field & experience of success
at this level.
“We
have signed a player hungry to score goals to help his team.
“My
thanks go to Spencer Day at Farnborough for acting swiftly to allow us to
borrow Mitchell short term.
“He
is thought of really highly, we will do our best to look after him".
