Striker Idris Kanu has signed for Vanarama National League club Barnet from SkyBet League One side Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee.

The versatile 22-year-old joins having previously played for Aldershot Town, Port Vale, Boreham Wood and Northampton Town and has proven himself as a threat across the pitch.

 

He can play either out-wide or centrally.

 

The young and exciting player will bring energy to Barnet going forward and has already met up with his new team-mates during training on Thursday.

 

Barnet head coach Dean Brennan told https://www.barnetfc.com: “I am delighted to sign Idris – he is a player that will bring plenty to our team and I am excited to see his performances.

 

“He joins us at a great time and his previous experience will be really welcome”.
