The 26-year-old started his career as a youth playing for several clubs in Portugal including Benfica and Padroense, as well as for Watford, where he played under-18 football.

He returned to Portugal with Setubal, Sporting, Torreense, Vilafranquense and Maritimo.

He signed for Dulwich Hamlet in 2019 and played for them in National League South, before moving to PO Xylotymbou in Cyprus and then Mount Druett Rangers in Australia, returning to the Cypriot club in September 2021.

Darlington manager Alun Armstrong told https://darlingtonfc.co.uk: “He’s a box-to-box midfielder. He’s nice and aggressive, very tidy and very technical. Sometimes you lose that physicality with the technical players we’ve got. I’ve been impressed by what he’s done in training. He’s got a good pedigree, he’s played in the National League before and is something different”.
