Pair of Coup Signings for Leighton

Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division club Leighton Town have signed vastly experienced centre-back or central midfielder Max Farrelly and forward Will Summerfield.

The 30-year-old joined hometown Pitching In Southern League Division One Central side Berkhamsted in 2014 and made around 250 appearances.

Farrelly (pictured) joined Berko from AFC Dunstable and has also played for Leverstock Green, Chesham United, Aylesbury FC and Hatfield Town.

Summerfield is a 26-year-old who joined Southern Premier Division Central side Bedford Town in June 2020 from Berkhamsted, where he had been since the summer of 2018, arriving from Bovingdon.

Originally on the books at MK Dons, he had loan spells with Arlesey Town and Bedford whilst still at Stadium MK and was with Hemel Hempstead Town prior to joining Bovingdon in 2017.
