Foulkes joined Derby’s under-21s in August.

He spent pre-season training with the Rams and impressed between the posts in a number of friendly fixtures.

He signed a one-year contract to join the under-21s on a permanent basis and was also a substitute for the first team in their pre-season friendly at home to Manchester United.

Foulkes made 17 appearances in Premier League 2 - Division 1 in 2021/22 and trained with the first team on a regular basis, acting as the number three goalkeeper, with his efforts earning a new one-year deal in the summer of 2022.

The shot-stopper was previously on the books of Hull City, who he played for at both under-18 and under-23 level, and he also enjoyed time on loan at Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One East side Pickering Town to gain experience.
