Bitton were formed in 1892 and played mainly in the Bristol Leagues until 1995/96 when they were elected to the Gloucestershire County League.

It took only two seasons for the club to win promotion to the Western League and in 2003/04, finished second in Division One and were promoted to the Premier Division where they have remained ever since.

Bitton actually won the Western Leaguer title in 2008/09 but were unable to go up due to ground grading issues and Frome Town were promoted instead.

Bitton’s playing record for this season will be expunged and the league table adjusted accordingly.
