Styles left his post after five months at The Belmont, and the Oystermen have appointed former Sheppey United coach Marcel Nimani.

A statement from the club reads: “We are delighted to confirm the appointment tonight of Marcel Nimani as the new first team manager of Whitstable Town.

“Craig Coles will also be joining the club as head coach. We welcome both Marcel and Craig and look forward to working with them. Further appointments are expected to be announced in the next few days.”

Nimani (pictured) commented: “Whitstable Town is a great community club with brilliant facilities, youth structure and ambition – all key attributes that I look for in a football club. We are looking forward to embracing the club and to the challenges ahead”.
