McGrath,
37, was handed temporary charge of team affairs after last week’s sacking of
Thomas Baillie and his management team.
McGrath,
who already has Andy Mason alongside him in the dug-out, has brought in former
West Bromwich Albion favourite Richard Sneekes as first team coach.
Dutchman
Sneekes (pictured), now 53, came through the famous Ajax set up and, after making a
handful of appearances for them, played for Volendam, Fortuna Sittard and Swiss
side FC Locarno before coming to England with Bolton Wanderers in August 1994.
In
March 1996, he signed for the Baggies and went on to make almost 250
appearances, scoring 30 goals.
Capped
at under-21 level by Holland, he is no stranger to the non-League scene,
however, having coached at Tamworth and Hereford United and managed Rushall
Olympic and Sutton Coldfield Town in recent years.
McGrath
has brought in midfielder Mo Sebbeh-Njie from Vanarama National League North
side Alfreton Town.
The
Spaniard, who is of Gambian descent, joined the Reds in September 2021 after
being at Northern Premier League Premier Division side Stafford Rangers.
The
24-year-old signed for Rangers in August 2020 having returned to the Rouslers`
league rivals Stratford Town for a second spell in early January 2020.
He
originally joined Stratford in January 2019 from Redditch United.
He
was previously with National League North side Kettering Town and returned to
Stratford from another brief spell at Latimer Park. |
