Hardy Makes More Permanent Silkmen Move
Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One West club Macclesfield FC have made midfielder James Hardy’s move from Vanarama National League North neighbours Buxton a more permanent one.

The 26-year-old will sign on January 1st following a successful loan spell with the Silkmen and the end of his contract with the Bucks. Hardy had joined the Bucks in June 2022 from National League North rivals Chester, where he had been since June 2021 but had a loan spell with the Bucks in 2021/22. He had joined National League side Altrincham in February 2021 from Chester`s rivals AFC Telford United. He had joined Telford in August 2020 from SkyBet League Two side Walsall. He arrived at the Bescot Stadium from National League side AFC Fylde in June 2019. On Manchester City’s books as a youngster, the former England C international joined the Coasters in October 2015 and was named their 2016/17 young player of the year. He notched 5 goals in 46 appearances for Fylde and helped them reach the 2018/19 National League Promotion Final, while he also played 6 games on loan at FC Halifax Town in the second half of the 2018/19 campaign. He made 11 appearances for Walsall, scoring 1 goal.
