Davis arrives at The Eyrie with extensive experience of managing at Step 3, having been with several Southern League clubs over the last decade. Davis’ history at Step 3 includes being part of the Oxford City management that won promotion from step three to the Vanarama National League North back in 2012, beating AFC Totton in the play-off final. Since then, Davis has gone on to manage Banbury United and Redditch United. He led Stratford Town to the televised First Round of the Emirates FA Cup last season and secured a play-off spot and won the Southern League Cup. Since leaving Stratford last season, he has been involved with Hemel Hempstead Town in the National League South, working alongside Mark Jones at the Tudors to ensure a healthy position at step two. A UEFA A licence coach, Davis arrives at the Eyrie with a hands-on approach to being involved with the club. He is also playing a major part in the development of the Eagles’ new 16-19-year old academy, which will launch officially in September, but has already seen large interest from youngsters across the Borough, keen to take their next steps forward both on and off the field. Also arriving at the Eyrie is Dan Nolan - another UEFA A licence coach, who has spent the last fifteen years coaching in Ireland at various different clubs, across different levels. Most notably, he worked for the League of Ireland Premier Division Club Finn Harps FC. The club are also extremely pleased to announce that Graeme Tomlinson has agreed to stay on at the club. Tomlinson has been instrumental in ensuring stability at The Eyrie over the last month, and along with Callum Donnelly and other senior players, we owe them enormous thanks. He has agreed to become the club’s assistant manager, working alongside Davis and Nolan.
