The good news is the signing of goalkeeper Ronnie Hollingshead from Championship side West Bromwich Albion for an initial month’s loan. The 18-year-old is highly rated at the Hawthorns where he has already become a regular in their PL2 side, despite his young age having broken through from the academy at just 16 years old. He has also been a regular for Wales under-18s. More good news for the Pitmen in defender Luke Redfern has extended his loan spell from Championship side Stoke City. The 19-year-old has been on loan with the Pitmen since October and is staying for another month. Bad news, however, is that vastly experienced striker Leroy Lita (pictured) has informed the club by message that he wishes to leave the Pitmen with immediate effect. The 38-year-old former Middlesbrough star arrived last season from league rivals Stratford Town and has been a mainstay in the side. However, the forward has informed Hednesford’s club secretary that he no longer wishes to play for the club.
