Young Forward Loaned to Parkway

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South strugglers Plymouth Parkway have signed young forward Oscar Massey on a month’s loan from League Two side Swindon Town.

The 19-year-old became Swindon’s first signing of the 2022 close season when he joined from League One side Plymouth Argyle, and heads to Bolitho Park to gain some valuable game time as he continues his development. The pacey attacker has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Swindon this season and is yet to make a senior start but has featured twice as a substitute. This included appearances in a Carabao Cup defeat to Walsall back in August last year and in the EFL Trophy clash at Bristol Rovers in October. He is no stranger to non-League football, however, as he has spent time on with Vanarama National League South outfit Hungerford Town and Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Wantage Town earlier this season.
