The 19-year-old first joined the Minstermen ahead of the 2021/22 season following his release from SkyBet League Two side Mansfield Town, but left City at the end of the season before joining the Bucks. The teenage shot-stopper featured on the bench at Mansfield on several occasions and served as understudy to Peter Jameson during the Minstermen’s National League North promotion last season. Campbell returns to York on a deal until the end of the season, providing more cover and competition between the sticks. York manager David Webb told https://www.yorkcityfootballclub.co.uk: “I’m delighted to welcome Maison back to the club, he will offer healthy competition for the goalkeeper position. “Staff at the club talk highly of Maison and I’m sure he will relish the chance to be back at York City FC”.
