The 26-year-old joined St Ives in July 2021 from then-Southern Division One Central side Bedford Town, where he has been since late August 2019 and played under current Corby manager Gary Setchell. He joined the Eagles from United Counties League Premier Division North side Wisbech Town, where he has made 6 appearances. He has previously been with Kettering Town, Eynesbury Rovers and Harborough Town. As a youngster he was with Northampton Town and spent six years with Aston Villa. Also joining the Steelmen is forward Lewis Darlington on a month’s loan from SkyBet League One side Peterborough United. Darlington joined the Posh in 2020 after spending several seasons with Premier League Nottingham Forest. A centre-forward by nature, Darlington spent the majority of last season in Peterborough’s under-18 setup. He signed a two-year professional development contract at the end of the 2021/22 campaign, seeing him integrate into the under-21s this season.
