Parkes Extends Parkway Stay
Goalkeeper Adam Parkes has extended his loan with Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Plymouth Parkway from League One neighbours Plymouth Argyle until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old joined Argyle in October 2022 having been released by Championship side Watford in the summer, quickly headed to Bolitho Park to join Lee Hobbs` side. Weymouth-born, Parkes progressed through the Southampton academy and signed his first professional deal in 2016. He also represented England at under-17 level. He moved to Watford in 2019 and gained experience with loan spells with Vanarama National League South side Havant & Waterlooville and National League outfit Barnet, before spending the 2021/22 season on loan with Dover Athletic, then in the National League, playing 22 games. He was released by Watford in the summer. Parkes has played 12 times for Parkway, keeping three clean sheets. He also saved two penalties when Parkway beat Oxford City in a shoot-out in the Isuzu FA Trophy.
