Since breaking into the starting line-up in September 2022, Kasimu (pictured) is Farnborough’s leading goalscorer, having found the net 12 times throughout the first half of his inaugural season at this level. The 25-year-old makes the leap into the Football League with Matt Gray’s Sutton United side who are currently mid-table in the Sky Bet League Two. Meanwhile, Bradley Keetch and Chike Kandi have joined Boro from Maidenhead United and Dover Athletic respectively. Midfielder Keetch returns for his second spell in Hampshire on loan for the remainder of the season. He joined the Magpies in October 2018. Forward Chike Kandi makes the permanent move to the Easy As HGV Stadium, having departed league rivals Dover earlier this week. The 26-year-old had moved to Crabble in August 2022 from another league rival, Dulwich Hamlet. He had joined Dulwich in the summer of 2021 from Aldershot Town. He had signed for the Shots in August 2020 from National League rivals Dagenham & Redbridge, who he signed for in September 2017. He spent his youth career at Birmingham City, Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion and Brighton & Hove Albion. In the 2016/17 season he made 16 appearances for Woking, scoring 3 goals, before joining Leatherhead at the end of that season. He has also played at international level for Wales’ under-19 side, scoring one goal in his only appearance. Manager Spencer Day told https://farnboroughfc.co.uk: “Obviously the headline here is the sale of Hisham for an undisclosed fee. We are proud that we yet again have brought through a player to get into the Football League. We never hold a player back and had a small buy out fee which a number of Football Clubs activated in the last couple of days. “We have a strong relationship with Sutton and have negotiated add-ons and Friendlies and wish Hisham nothing but success as a pro and are pleased we played our part. Of course, on a selfish basis we are sad to see him go but this is football. “I’m also delighted to announce the arrival of Chike on a transfer from Dover. He has a strong National League pedigree, knows a number of our players and sees us as a great place to get going again and I know will become another popular Boro player. “Returning for a second spell on loan is Bradley Keetch who fits well into our style of play after other midfield departures. We know he’s a quality player that fits straight in. “Sadly, we say goodbye to Sam Deering. Sam will remain in Boro folklore with his play-off winner but has not had the playing time recently and we have budgets to maintain so it was mutually decided now was the time to part. We thank him for the past 18 months and wish him well moving forward. “With a frustrating January due to the weather, I still expect another one or two in and out as we face a relentless fixture list whilst keeping the finances in check but am confident that we can continue to challenge strongly in the National League South”.
