The centre-back (pictured) made 3 appearances for The Shots at the start of this season but has since spent time on loan with league rivals Maidstone United. The 26-year-old re-joined Aldershot in June 2019 from Braintree Town, who were relegated from the National League with the Shots at the end of the 2018/19 season before the latter were reprieved. The former England under-16 international is a graduate of the highly acclaimed academies at Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa and started the 2016/17 season at Championship side Bristol City. In December 2016, he started a month-long loan spell with Guernsey FC, before travelling to Ireland in February 2017 to spend time on trial at Premier Division side Derry City before signing for The Shots for the first time in August 2017. He left in January 2018 for Whitehawk before signing for Braintree in August 2018. Meanwhile, The Shots have confirmed that Archie Davies has left the club to join Dundalk in the League of Ireland Premier Division. The right-back made 30 appearances for Aldershot this season after signing from SkyBet League Two side Crawley Town in the summer. The 24-year-old joined The Shots after playing almost 70 times for Crawley. After graduating through Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion’s academy, playing a number of Premier League 2 and Under-18 Premier League games, the full-back spent time within the non-League pyramid after a brief loan spell with Whitehawk before moving to Crawley on a permanent deal.
