Joe Hugill and Sonny Aljofree join Maxi Oyedele in moving to The J.Davidson Stadium for the rest of the season. Defensive midfielder Oyedele arrived at the club a couple of weeks ago and striker Hugill and centre-back Aljofree have now joined him at Alty. Hugill brings with him a growing reputation as a strong, forceful centre-forward who leads the line confidently and competently and has a keen eye for goal, as underlined by his signing for United in a £300,000 deal from Sunderland in the summer of 2020, amid serious interest from Arsenal and Tottenham. The 19-year-old is a 6`2” frontrunner and after shaking off an injury and returning to spearhead United's PL2 Division One attack, they have won every game he has featured in and he has scored in each one. Hugill's tally now stands at 6 goals from 5 appearances this season... Plymouth-born Aljofree, 18, is a highly-rated central defender who trained with the first team last August. Manchester United described the trio's move as "part of an innovative loan scheme designed by United’s academy coaches”.
