| Vanarama National League North club Blyth Spartans have announced the signing of forward Michael Spellman on loan from SkyBet Championship side Sunderland until the end of the season. |

| The 20-year-old joined the Black Cats this summer from Wearside League side Chester-le-Street United after coming through the Park View Academy.
Spellman has had a taste of first-team action so far this season for the Black Cats, coming on as a substitute in Sunderland’s Carabao Cup tie away to Sheffield Wednesday.
The youngster also had a brief spell on loan at Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division side Whitby Town in October 2022, scoring once in his 4 appearances for the Seasiders.
