Moulden has made the decision to head back up north to his native area of Yorkshire after spending the last few years playing his trade in the south-west. The 21-year-old had joined the Seagulls in late October 2021 for an undisclosed fee from Southern Division One South side Willand Rovers. He had joined Rovers in the summer of 2020 from Ilfracombe Town. He had moved to Bideford AFC in late August 2019 from then-league rivals Barnstaple Town. He was previously with League Two side Bradford City`s academy, North Devon Leaguers Boca Seniors and Exeter City, where he played for the under-18s. Manager Scott Bartlett told https://www.westonsmareafc.co.uk: “Alfie is a great lad and a very good player. He has been a bit unlucky and I’ll take some blame for him not playing as much as he would like, we both agree that players in his positions have been consistent. “I wasn’t looking for Alf to leave but he is a brilliant lad and had an opportunity to go back home for a while, and Guiseley have offered him a good chance to play”.
