The 31-year-old, born in Leeds, started his career with Huddersfield Town, and was with the Terriers for five years when he also enjoyed spells on loan with then-Conference side Northwich Victoria as well as Morecambe, Cheltenham Town, Brentford, Crawley Town and Scunthorpe United. After being released by the Terriers, he signed a two-year deal with Notts County at the start of the 2014/15 season. He then had a year with Plymouth Argyle in 2016/17 and moved on to play for Mansfield Town in 2017/18. He signed for Farsley Celtic prior to the start of the 2018/19 campaign and made 81 appearances and score 35 goals. Curzon manager Adam Lakeland told https://www.curzon-ashton.co.uk: “He is a player I signed at my previous club and was outstanding for me. In my opinion he is one of the best number 9's outside of the Football League”.
