| Caton scored 3 goals in 13 appearances for the Dabbers this season after signing in December, most recently a very late equaliser in the 3-3 draw with Liversedge last month
The 29-year-old was born in Widnes, where he played Rugby League at school, and was a member of his year 7 team that reached the Champion Schools final at Twickenham, where he scored a full length try in the win in 2005.
Joining Bolton Wanderers as a 9-year-old schoolboy, he was a part of the England under-16's set-up that won the Victory Shield, turning professional with Bolton in 2010.
After his release by Bolton, he featured in Football League matches for Blackpool, Accrington Stanley and Shrewsbury Town.
He has also had spells in the Vanarama National League with Wrexham, Lincoln City, Southport and Dover Athletic.
He moved to Nuneaton Borough in March 2019 and then back to the north west with NPL Premier Division outfit Radcliffe in late January 2020 before returning south and re-joining Dover in June 2021.
In September 2022 he moved to National League North side Hereford before moving to Nantwich.
