| The 18-year-old is a product of the U’s youth system and has impressed during their run to the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup, which ended with defeat at Manchester City earlier this month.
Barnsley has previous experience in senior football from a loan spell with Pitching In Southern League Division One South outfit Evesham United earlier this season and he now arrives at Park View Road to give Warren Feeney another option between the sticks with Myles Roberts recently sitting out with a knock and Kai McKenzie-Lyle currently on international duty with Guyana.
