| The 20-year-old arrived on Wearside from Kettering’s county neighbours Northampton Town in July 2021 and made his first-team debut by playing the full 90 minutes in a Papa John’s Trophy win over Manchester United under-21s in October of that year.
The central midfielder has featured 10 times for the Black Cats` under-21 side this season, scoring once, and joins Kettering for the side’s final eight games of the campaign.
