Two More Added to Iron Squad
Vanarama National League North club Scunthorpe United have brought in two more new players for their attempt to bounce straight back to the National League.

Tyler Denton and Will Evans have become the latest to join the Iron. Denton (pictured), 27, is a left-sided player who started his career at Leeds United. He failed to make a senior appearance whilst at Elland Road but did have loan spells with Port Vale, where he made 15 appearances, and Peterborough United, for whom he played 10 times. The former England under-17 international moved to then-League Two outfit Stevenage in July 2019 and appeared 15 times. He signed for National League side Chesterfield in early October 2020 and then moved to rivals King`s Lynn Town in January 2021. Evans is a 31-year-old defender who moves to the Iron from former National League rivals Boreham Wood, where he had been since 2021 after arriving from Chesterfield. He had signed for the Spireites from National League rivals Aldershot Town in May 2018 and picked up the players and players` player of the year awards at the end of the 2018/19 season. He spent his youth career with Fairford Town and Swindon Town, where he turned professional in 2010. He played 37 times for Hereford United and 86 times for Eastleigh, adding 72 games to his tally with the Shots.
