| Veteran Striker Joins Farsley |
| Vanarama National League North club Farsley Celtic have announced the signing of striker veteran striker Clayton Donaldson. |

| The 39-year-old joins Farsley from Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit Gainsborough Trinity where he racked up an impressive 22 goals in 38 matches in all competitions after arriving in the summer of 2022.
The Bradford-born, he signed for Trinity following a second spell with National League North side York City, who he re-joined from League Two side Bradford City in June 2021.
He started his career with Bradford and then Hull City, is an imposing forward who re-joins the Minstermen upon the completion of his contract at Bradford - 14 years after his first spell and after an excellent football career in the Championship with the likes of Birmingham City, Sheffield United and Brentford as well as for Hibernian, Crewe Alexandra and Bolton Wanderers.
He played 41 times for home-town club Bradford City in League Two in 2020/21 and captained the side on multiple occasions.
In his previous spell with York, he scored 44 goals over two seasons.
He has caps for Jamaican and England C.
On the signing of Donaldson, club director Pav Singh told his club’s website: “Clayton is a player we have been looking at for some time, and his presence on the pitch is something that will add something totally different to our game.
“This a hugely exciting signing for the club, and sends out a signal of intent as to what we want to achieve this season”.
