Scarisbrick will return to the club he enjoyed a short spell at during the 2022/23 campaign, prior to his step up to the NPL Premier Division with Marine AFC. He began last season with Warrington Rylands, working alongside Bootle manager Dave McNabb, before arriving at the Berry Street Garage Stadium in September. However, his time at the club was cut short after a seven-day notice of approach by Marine. He went on to make 18 appearances for the Merseyside-based club but failed to agree new terms following the conclusion of the season. Also joining Scarisbrick at Bootle for the 2023/24 campaign will be forward Tom Peterson. Last season's top scorer made 35 appearances in all competitions, netting 14 times.
