The 22-year-old had joined the Yellows in June 2022 from another league rival, Dorchester Town, where he had been since June 2021. Having followed in the footsteps of his older brother Ben, who played for Charlton Athletic and now Ross County, he came through the academy at Plymouth Argyle, signing his first professional deal in 2018. He spent from August 2019 until January 2020 on loan at Dorchester, making 20 appearances and contributing 3 goals, bagging a hat-trick in the Dorset Senior Cup against Hamworthy United. He also spent time on loan with Taunton Town before being released by Argyle in the summer of 2020 when he joined Vanarama National League side Bromley.
