The 27-year-old played over 170 games for Maidenhead United across two spells with club, scoring 41 goals. Barratt started his career at Bracknell Town before moving to Maidenhead in 2014. He went on to help them achieve promotion to the National League in 2017. After just a single season in the National League, Barratt made the jump to League One with Southend United. Barratt suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury shortly after signing for the Shrimpers and returned to Maidenhead, where he scored 15 goals in his first season back with The Magpies. Barnet manager Dean Brennan told https://www.barnetfc.com: “I’m delighted to be welcome Sam Barratt to the club. “He’s a player we’ve been tracking for a while now. He’s a proven goalscorer in this division and adds quality in an already strong area for us”.
