Diaz Makes Boro Switch
Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Gosport Borough have announced their first new addition to the squad for the 2023/24 season.

New bosses Pat Suraci and Joe Lea have announced the signing of Antonio Diaz. The 23-year-old midfielder joins Boro after being with Southern Division One South side Bashley since December 2022. Diaz was at Premier League AFC Bournemouth from 2007 to 2018. He was a member of the Cherries` team which won the Youth Alliance Cup final 2-1 against Wigan Athletic in 2017, scoring one of the goals. He then joined Weymouth as a winger, before moving to Dorchester Town for 2018/19 as an attacker. He signed for Southern Division One South side Wimborne Town in November 2019 and then switched to league rivals Salisbury in June 2020.
