| Dunmow Appoint Experienced Hayes |
| Dunmow Town, promoted to the Thurlow Nunn League Division One South, have announced the appointment of Paul Hayes as their new manager. |

| Hayes had a fantastic playing career including and has a great coaching pedigree.
After starting his career with Norwich City, he went on to make over 500 appearances and score 129 goals for the likes of Scunthorpe United, Barnsley, Preston North End, Charlton Athletic, Wycombe Wanderers and Newport County.
In non-League football he spent time with Hemel Hempstead Town, AFC Sudbury, Faversham Town and Haverhill Rovers.
Most recently, Hayes served Southern Counties East League Premier Division side Chatham Town as sporting director between 2020 and 2022 and then in May 2022, was appointed director of football at Isthmian League Premier Division club Bowers & Pitsea.
He departed that role in January 2023.
He was the outstanding candidate and Dunmow are excited about his vision and ambition.
Hayes said: “I’m excited and happy to be the new Dunmow Town manager. After meeting the owner twice and hearing the ambition of the club, the plans and the drive they have behind it, it has made my decision very easy.
“The club and players had a very successful campaign last season, winning the double and I look to add more success to the club and for the fans in the future. I look forward to meeting the players in a couple of weeks and start pre-season”.
