The left-back has spent the last two seasons with Maidstone’s new league rivals Welling United, winning the players’ and supporters’ player of the year awards for 2022/23. He came through the youth set-up at Millwall and joined the Wings in the summer of 2021. He left Park View Road last month in a bid to secure a move to the National League but Stones boss George Elokobi’s persistence has paid off with the 21-year-old signing a one-year deal with the Stones. Elokobi told https://maidstoneunited.co.uk: “With the likes of Sam Bone, Sam Corne and Reiss Greenidge, we’ve got National League standard players and I now include Chi in that. I know he could have made the step up this summer but I am delighted that he chosen Maidstone United and he is buzzing to be part of what we want to do next season”.
