| Hunter Moves to Gateshead |
| Vanarama National League club Gateshead have signed defender Jordan Hunter from National League North new boys South Shields. |

| The 23-year-old right back completed a permanent move to Shields in July 2020 and helped them to win the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division last season.
He earlier made 39 appearances for the Mariners in a hugely successful loan spell from SkyBet Championship neighbours Sunderland in 2019/20, having originally joined Shields on an initial one-month loan in August 2019.
After an impressive start to life at Mariners Park the loan was quickly extended until the end of the season, and his energetic displays on the right flank earned him the affection of fellow players, staff and supporters alike.
He went on to win the club’s young player of the year and supporters’ player of the year awards, further strengthening bonds which had blossomed so well during the campaign.
And it was a move the former Liverpool academy product was eager to make.
