Central midfielder Callum Reilly moves to the Lambs from new league rivals Banbury United. The 29-year-old came through the Birmingham City academy, progressing to make his Football League debut for them in 2012. After making 60 League appearances for Birmingham, he joined Burton Albion on loan in March 2015, that move becoming permanent that summer. Spells would later follow with Coventry City, Bury, Gillingham, AFC Wimbledon and Leyton Orient, making a career total of 214 League appearances, scoring 12 goals. He spent the final couple of months of the 2021/22 season on loan to National League side Solihull Moors. He was released by Orient at the end of that season and joined Banbury in September 2022. He can also play at full back and has represented the Republic of Ireland at under-21 level. The experienced Lindon Meikle (pictured) has returned to the Lambs, having been on loan from new league rivals Buxton in 2022/23. The 35-year-old winger or striker made the reverse journey from Tamworth to Buxton in 2021. He had originally joined the Lambs in July 2020 from then-National League North side Kettering Town, where he had been since arriving from Barrow AFC during the close season of 2018. The former England C international has also played for Eastwood Town, Mansfield Town, York City, Macclesfield Town, Alfreton Town and Southport (on loan). A committed player, he helped the Poppies to win the Southern Premier Central title in 2018/19.
