The 24-year-old played every minute of every league game for the Robins last season, and picked up the managers`, players’ and supporters’ player of the season awards. Lundstram had moved to Alty on a permanent basis in May 2022 following his release by Crewe Alexandra after their relegation to League Two. A graduate from the famed Crewe academy from the summer of 2017, he is another to make the successful step up to senior football. He made his debut against Bolton in the EFL Trophy in September before making his League debut as a sub against Charlton Athletic. He is another who benefitted greatly from successful loan spells and his development certainly progressed during notable spells with Nuneaton Borough, Kidsgrove Athletic and especially at Altrincham, who he helped to win promotion from the National League North.
