Defender Lewis Wright has re-joined the Pitmen from their former Southern League Premier Division Centgral rivals Bromsgrove Sporting. The 27-year-old had been with the Rouslers since August 2022. He had re-joined Halesowen Town in early October 2020 having originally signed for the Yeltz in May 2019 from Tamworth. A former Birmingham City trainee, he spent time with Tividale, Solihull Moors and Hednesford before joining the Lambs in the summer of 2018 from Redditch United, where he returned to in September 2020. Hednesford player-manager Danny Glover told https://www.hednesfordtownfc.com: “Dan Crane and I have worked hard to get this one done, Lewis is a cracking player and I’ve got nothing but positives about him. He is strong, athletic and has a huge amount of experience so we are really pleased he has agreed to come here.” Hednesford have also announced the signing of young goalkeeper Jack Richards (pictured). The 19-year-old moved to Keys Park having spent last season with Midland League side Littleton FC having begun his career in SkyBet League One side Port Vale’s youth academy. He is likely to go out on loan to get some experience under his belt whilst working with first team goalkeepers Dan Crane and Rhys Williams.
