New Trio for Buckland
Toolstation Western League Premier Division club Buckland Athletic have made three new signings ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Prolific marksman Josh Grant (pictured) moves to the Bucks from Pitching In Southern League Division One South side Tavistock AFC. The 32-year-old had moved to the Lambs in the summer of 2022 from Southern Premier Division South side Plymouth Parkway. He had signed for Parkway in late October 2021 from then-Western League Tavistock. He had returned to the Lambs in 2020 from Taunton Town, who he signed for in June 2019. He is a former product of Plymouth Argyle’s youth system before going on to represent a number of non-League clubs in the area, such as Torpoint Athletic, St Austell, Plymouth Parkway and then from October 2016, Tavistock, for whom he racked up 32 league goals in 2018/19 to lead them to the South West Peninsula League title, sealing their promotion to the Western League. Sam Leary has also secures his future with the Bucks' following his departure from league rivals Saltash United. Leary is a 26-year-old powerful and versatile defender who had been with the Ashes for several seasons. Following Leary from Saltash is 24-year-old midfielder Callum Watson. He previously played for Plymouth Parkway and Tavistock, winning the Western League title with the Lambs in 2021/22.
