Barratt, who operates primarily at right-back, was most recently at Hanley Town. However, he suffered a dislocated shoulder early on during his time at the club and endured an injury-ravaged 2022/23 season. Before then, he featured for Glossop North End, playing 39 times for the Hillmen following his arrival in August 2021. He began his career with Stoke City before enjoying a two-year spell in Fleetwood Town's academy. A brief stint at Leek Town followed his time at Fleetwood. Also joining Barratt at Linnets is Passant (pictured), who returns to the club after spending the last few seasons at Marine AFC. During his time on Merseyside, Passant made over a century of appearances, 50 of which came last season. He also started the Mariners' memorable FA Cup third round tie against Premier League Tottenham Hotspur in January 2021.
