Carroll (pictured), who originally hails from Ireland, joins Farsley following a season with JD Cymru Premier side Flint Town United. The 22-year-old had moved to Wales in the summer of 2022 from Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division side Radcliffe, having been with Boro since July 2021 after arriving from League of Ireland First Division outfit Athlone Town, having also previously played for Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians and Shelbourne. Farsley’s director of football Pav Singh told https://farsleyceltic.com: “Jordan is a very talented young player. His versatility, quality and composure on the ball allows him to play in a number of positions and that versatility makes him a valuable addition to the squad. “We look forward to working with Jordan and allowing him to become the peak version of himself with the new squad and management team.” Highly rated goalkeeper Harry Allen has also moved to Throstle Nest. Allen came through the ranks at Manchester United before joining Burnley where he played at under-19 and under-21 level. He also played last season at Flint. Singh said: “We have been looking at Harry for a while, and given the level of interest in him we are delighted to have won the race for his signature. “He has great ability, particularly with his distribution, both out of his hands and off the ground. This allows us to look at different tactical models and styles of play that will also compliment the abilities of our other new signings. “The confidence in his play gives the assurances that we look for on any goalkeeper!”
