Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One Midlands club Shepshed Dynamo have announced the signing of midfielder Kyle Dixon.

The 28-year-old joins Dynamo after spending the second half of last season with Carlton Town, where he made 19 appearances. He had moved to Carlton midway through the 2022/23 season from Gainsborough Trinity, where he had been since June 2021 after arriving from Basford United. He started his career with Notts County and made his senior debut in September 2012, in a 2–1 victory over Scunthorpe United in the EFL Trophy. Whilst with the Magpies, he had loan spells with Grantham Town, AFC Telford United and Boston United, where he moved to on a more permanent basis in February 2015 having completed a second loan spell. He made 36 appearances for the Pilgrims and then moved on to have spells with North Ferriby United, Coalville Town and Newark Flowserve before signing for Basford.
