Polish Keeper for Radcliffe
Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division club Radcliffe FC have confirmed the signing of 26-year-old goalkeeper Mateusz Hewelt.

He joins with a wealth of experience from higher in the football pyramid, joining from League Two outfit Tranmere Rovers following the expiration of his contract where he featured on 14 occasions. The towering keeper, standing at 6’3”, started his footballing journey with Everton, where he would feature on numerous occasions for their under-23s. He was almost an ever-present in David Unsworth's under-23 side that were crowned Premier League 2 champions in 2016/17, while also being named on the first-team bench on a handful of occasions in the absence of either Maarten Stekelenburg or Joel Robles. He then moved onto Polish side Miedź Legnica, where he would grab a last gasp equaliser against Chrobry Głogów in a 2-2 affair. Alongside his wealth of experiences higher in the pyramid, he has previously featured in the Northern Premier League - having been loaned out to Bamber Bridge and most recently, Stafford Rangers.
