| Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One Midlands new boys AFC Rushden & Diamonds have re-signed the club’s all-time leading scorer Tom Lorraine.
The 33-year-old had signed for Cambridge City in March 2023, having re-joined Daventry Town in early December 2021 from Diamonds.
He had originally signed for Diamonds from Cogenhoe United at the end of March 2014, where he was registered with Daventry on a dual-registration basis.
He had appeared for Woodford United, Banbury United and Bedworth United earlier in his career.
He was the club’s top scorer in their promotion winning 2014/15 campaign scoring 19 goals but showed his flexibility by playing in midfield towards the end of the season to provide much-needed cover in that position.
