Central midfielder Wright (pictured), who has previously played for both Grantham Town and Ilkeston Town, joins the Moes and will be part of the squad going forward. Loughborough Dynamo manager Tom Hayes told https://www.loughboroughdynamofc.com: “Jake is a brilliant addition to the club and I am really pleased to bring him into the squad this season. “Jake is someone I have played with previously and his technical ability and experience in the game will make him a key part of our group. “He can open up defences with brilliant vision and close control and he has a great engine on him too to get about the pitch for the team. He will also chip in with plenty of goals from midfield areas and can also play higher up the pitch. “He is a top person to have around the club and he adds to what is already a very strong midfield group that we have.” Loughborough Dynamo are pleased to announce that Jack Astill has joined the club. After an impressive trial during pre-season, the former Birstall United forward has joined the club having made a positive impression on both the supporters and manager Tom Hayes. Astill was a big part of the Birstall United play off campaign last season and chipped in with a number of goals and assists to put them in play-off contention. Hayes added: “Jack has been a revelation this pre-season and he’s drawn plenty of attention since he arrived. He’s been one of the highlights of our pre-season so far. “Jack is an extremely powerful, aggressive and direct footballer and he is perfect for how we will look to set up the team this season. We will look to get in teams faces high up the pitch this year and he with others at the top end of the pitch will lead that. “He is a versatile forward, playing predominantly as a winger but can also play through the middle of the pitch too. We look forward to working with him towards a successful year for the club.” As well as his time at Birstall, Astill has also previously had spells at Anstey Nomads, Melton Town and Lutterworth Athletic.
