The winger has played in almost every pre-season friendly for the Seagulls as a triallist. The 24-year-old joins with plenty of experience in first-team football so far, having won the National League South title with Torquay United in 2019 and pulling on the shirt of Bath City and Forest Green Rovers amongst others. Manager Scott Bartlett told his club’s website: “Opi is a very good signing for us. “He has played at a higher level and rightly has aspirations of getting back into full-time football. He has come in, got his head down and worked really hard for the team. That has shown in the way he has trained and his performances on the pitch. “Anyone we sign has to have a ‘team first’ mentality and he definitely has that. “Obviously he has quality, experience and blistering pace so we are delighted to add him to our squad”.
