Full-back Clive
Smith joins from Vanarama National League North side Southport.
The 20-year-old has
played in the Scottish Premiership with St Johnstone having progressed through
the youth set-up at Preston North End.
Smith signed his
first professional contract at Deepdale in January 2017, having trained and
played during pre-season with the first team as he made his way through the
ranks.
He spent time on
loan at Bamber Bridge before finishing the campaign with St Johnstone and was
released by Preston, joining Southport in December.
Young forward
Dominic Kerrigan joins after leaving SkyBet League One side Fleetwood Town.
He played for the
Cod Army in the EFL Trophy and was a regular in the club`s under-18s.
Alex Frost is a
versatile defender who can play either right-back or centre-back.
He was on the books
of Rochdale and Burnley as a youth and served Altrincham, Rossendale United,
Team Bath and Cirencester Town on loan before joining Ashton United.
He went on to make
over 200 appearances for Ashton and also appeared in the colours of Curzon
Ashton, Nantwich Town and Trafford.
He returns to the
Bloods for a second spell after a second stint at Trafford.
Shaun Holden is
another player in his second spell at the Butcher`s Arms.
He was a member of Skelmersdale
United`s championship-winning side in 2012/13, before moving on to Droylsden.
However, he re-signed
for Skem and has also played for Southport, Burscough and Colwyn Bay.
