....Runcorn Linnets on Saturday and made several new signings ahead of kick-off.
Joining the Bloods were Sam Madeley, Ryan Jennings, Ian Bennett, Chris Thompson, Matthew Johnson and Adao Manuel.
Arguably the Bloods` stellar signing is forward Sam Madeley, who re-joins from Vanarama National League North neighbours Curzon Ashton.
Madeley has spent the last few years in and around the Greater Manchester area, playing for a number of different clubs, including Mossley AFC, Ashton United and Droylsden, but found success during the 2014/15 season playing for Salford City.
He scored 20 goals in the Ammies promotion season before moving on to FC United of Manchester.
He played 35 times in the National League North for FC United, starting 21 times and scoring 11 goals.
Madeley then picked up an injury which curtailed his season and meant he missed the majority of the 2016/17 pre-season.
He signed for National League outfit Macclesfield Town in October 2016 and subsequently spent time on loan at Stalybridge Celtic and Nantwich Town before joining Warrington Town and then Curzon.
Wide player Jennings joins from National League North side Alfreton Town.
He joined the Reds in June 2017 from Curzon Ashton.
He began his career with home-town club Stockport County and joined then-Premier League Wigan Athletic in 2012.
He was then loaned to Accrington Stanley in 2015 but injury ruled him out of a first appearance.
Jennings returned to Wigan and made his first professional appearance in a 2-1 Capital One Cup defeat to Bury in August 2015.
He then had spells with Cheltenham Town and Grimsby Town, playing a part in Grimsby’s promotion-winning campaign to the Football League in the 2015/16 season.
After returning to Wigan, Jennings was released in June 2016 and last season had spells at eventual champions AFC Fylde and also Curzon Ashton.
Midfielder Bennett joins from league rivals Ramsbottom United.
A former youngster with Manchester City, the 32-year-old was previously a stalwart with Ashton United where he made more than 250 games.
His career was put on hold after an off-field accident put him out of action for the first third of the 2006/07 season.
Goalkeeper Thompson arrives from another league rival, Clitheroe.
He signed for the Blues two years ago from Kendal Town having previously been with Colne.
Another keeper signing is former Everton youngster Matthew Johnson.
Johnson signed scholarship forms at Goodison Park in July 2015.
The Rochdale-born youngster had been at the club since the age of 14.
The goalkeeper impressed at NPL level with Radcliffe Borough (now FC) two years ago but his spell at the club was cut short when he suffered a double leg break in October 2016.
The 19-year-old made a full recovery and played for the Toffees’ academy sides.
He had another loan spell in the NPL with Ramsbottom United last season before being one of several players released by Everton in the summer.
Another youngster, defender Adao Manuel, has joined the Bloods after being released by League Two side Crewe Alexandra.
He was previously on the books at Manchester City and Middlesbrough.
